2020 Free Guided Nature Walking Tours in Taipei

We are hosting 4 free nature walk this summer and inviting all visitors who like exploring the trails around Taipei. The hikes last about 2-3 hours. If you are interested in joining the tours, please fill the form or email us at nature.trail@msa.hinet.net

1. Yuanming Temple-Jinmianshan Hiking Trail(圓明寺&金面山步道)

Saturday, May 30// 8:30 am-12:30 pm

Meet at Indigenous People's Park (next to National Palace Museum)

Ends at Lane 136, Section 1, Huanshan Road, Neihu District

2. Guizikeng and Zhongyishan Hiking Trail (貴子坑&忠義山步道)

Saturday, 4 July// 8:30 am-12:30 pm

Meet at Guizikeng Soil and Water Conservation Park Bus Stop

Ends at Xingtian Temple (between MRT Zhongyi and Fuxinggang station)

3. Zhinan Temple Trail (指南宮步道)

Saturday, 1 August// 8:30 am-12:30 pm

Meet at Entrance of National Chengchi University (NCCU)

Ends at viewing platform near Zhinan TempleStation, Maokong Gondola

4. Xiangshan Hiking Trail and Yongchung Pond Wetland Park (象山步道&永春陂濕地公園)

Meet at MRT Xiangshang Station Exit 2

Ends at Yongchung Pond Wetland Park

We are a group of volunteers who love nature and desire to share how wonderful the Nature is. Taiwan Nature Trail Society has organized different kinds of activities, including trail tours and environmental education events. One of the most popular trail tours is a 300 person guided nature walk, sponsored by the Geotechnical Engineering Office, Public Works Department, Taipei City Government. We offer the guided tour in both English and Chinese from time to time. Therefore, we invite all you who are interested in exploring the great outdoors to experience the rich ecosystem surrounding Taipei!
