Supported by Taiwan International Artists Association, Taiwan Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Hong Kong Smart Art Association, Chinese Music Department of National Taiwan University of Arts, Chinese Music Department of Chinese Culture University, Assoclation of Vocal Artlsts of R. O. C., Sing Music Studio(HONG KONG), Unique Chamber Orchestra and IDEAL NUSIC Studio(Malaysia), International Classical And Traditional Music Competition provides a platform for artists and art lovers all over the world to learn and interact with each other. In 2017,the first competition attracted excellent musicians from Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Japan to get together in Taiwan.To pass down the successful experience in 2017, this year, the organizers and co-organizers want to profoundly promote the essence and spirit of classical and traditional music culture through various means of communications. To attract more talented musicians, aside from changing the name into International Classical and Traditional Music Awards”, the competition will be categorized into professional group and amateur group,which allows amateur talents to join in this competition . Besides, during the competition ,activities such as academic events and art exchanges will be held to let participants enjoy a harmonious, pleasant atmosphere , and elevate their music and art level at the same time.
The judges invited to the Grand Prix are all international professional musicians. Best players from all over the world will come to Taiwan for the final contest. This year, gold awards, silver awards, bronze awards and excellence awards will be set in both professional and amateur groups. Also, the “Special Jury Prize”, ”Hong Kong Smart Art Association Award“ ,"Excellent Overseas Musician Award"and “Future Start Award” will be selected among all the gold award winners, while "Best Performer for the Audience" will be voted by the audience.
We believe that the 3RD competition can help carry forward the heritage and exchange of music and culture under the promotion of organizers.
